This individual must provide daily updates regarding the status of the interventional radiology department to their superior and will be expected to work together with the Nurse Managers of the Interventional Radiology to ensure all rules and regulations are being followed. Serving as a direct leader to their subordinates, the Nurse Director of Interventional Radiology must be readily available to provide their assistance and guidance during any pressing and/or critical situation. The Nurse Director of Interventional Radiology will also serve as a mentor to the Interventional Radiology Nurses to ensure each patient is being treated with the upmost care.The Nurse Director of Interventional Radiology will be expected to oversee and provide direct oversight to the interventional radiology department while their team performs various clinical assessments. Equipped with cutting-edge technology within their radiology department, the Nurse Director of Interventional Radiology will be required to be well-versed in any and all clinical equipment utilized within their department. This individual must be easily accessible to offer their guidance and subject matter expertise if a pressing situation arises.
