Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: RN License Certifications: Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - OBED Circulate C-Sections - Ability to manage high-risk Antepartums - Labor experience - Experience with COVID patients in labor, C-Section, Antepartum, and OBED Job Description: - Work in a unit with a total of 19 labor beds, 5 OBED beds, 3 PACU, 3 Surgical, and 8 Antepartum beds. - Day shift staffing includes 1 charge, 2 OBED, 3 OR, 2-3 Antepartum, and 10 labor nurses. - Night shift staffing includes 1 charge, 2 OBED, 2-3 Antepartum, and 10 labor nurses. - Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 in labors, 3:1 in OBED, 4:1 in Antepartum, and 1:1 in OR. - Utilize EMR systems CPN and Meditech. - Perform typical procedures such as C-Sections, Cerclage, BTLD, and D&C for PPH. - Foster great teamwork and adapt to fast-paced environments. - Dress code requires royal blue scrubs; no t-shirts permitted. - Potential for four weekend shifts a month with a mandatory requirement of two weekend shifts per month. - No on-call duties. Adapting to the fast-paced and dynamic environment of the Labor & Delivery Unit, candidates must possess strong teamwork skills and demonstrate the ability to manage high-risk situations.
