Job Summary:As a Medical-Surgical Nurse with Christus Health, you will provide exceptional care for patients with chest tubes, tracheostomies, laryngectomies, and post-op care for various conditions, infections, COPD, pneumonia, and other respiratory disorders. You will work in a state-of-the-art hospital with a brand-new unit, where you can practice your passion and establish excellent foundational skills together with the opportunity to specialize in medical-surgical nursing.Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during examinations and treatments.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor patient vital signs.
• Observe and maintain records on patient care, condition, reaction, and progress.Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Texas State RN License.
  • CPR (American Heart Association) certification.
  • One-year experience in nursing preferred.Work Environment:Full-time position in a medical-surgical unit with a mix of patients, including chest tubes, tracheostomies, laryngectomies, and post-op care for various conditions.What We Offer:
